What SilkRoute does

We put you in a group of five or six people for a coffee, a dinner, or an activity, and where relevant we reserve a table. We do not provide the food, the drink or the venue.

Who can use it

You must be 18 or over and sign in with a Google account that is yours.

What you pay

Membership is €18 a month, or €36 for three months charged at once, for unlimited coffees and dinners. It renews until you cancel. A single meetup is €12. These charges are for placing you in a group. Your own food and drink is always paid by you at the venue.

Cancelling a place

You can give up a place free of charge up to 24 hours before a meetup. After that the table is already held for your group and it counts as a no-show. Repeated no-shows lead to a warning and then a temporary block.

Cancelling your membership

One click, at any time, from your settings. Your membership runs until the end of the month you have paid for.

Behaviour

Meetups are in public places. Treat the people you meet decently. You can report or block anyone, and we can suspend or remove an account. TODO: statutory withdrawal rights for distance contracts under German law.
